Smart Tag Demos

Nothing is more effective than seeing a demonstration for yourself. Because Smart Tags are perhaps the most versatile solution in existence, we cannot demonstrate everything, so have selected a number of demonstrations that give an insight into what our Smart Tags can do.

For security reasons, only certain demos can be shown. Other demos are provided using non-interative videos.

For more information on how customers use our smart tags, visit our case studies section.

Because we cannot demonstrate NFC tags via the website, we will use QR codes.

If you wish to see more demos, or wish to find out whether our Smart Tags are suitable for your needs, please contact us to set up a demonstration.

How Tags Work

Our Smart tags are available to support 3 technologies:

NFC, QR and Virtual Tags, each designed to support maintaining an inventory, catering for a variety of requirements.

N

1. NFC

NFC – A physical tag that can be accessed though a simple tap at the top or rear of the smartphone

N

2. QR

A QR Code that can printed or viewed on a screen, that can be used in a similar way to an NFC tag.

N

3. Virtual Tags

These are tags that can be used like other tags, but can only be accessed through a parent NFC or QR tag. These are primarily used to keep an bulk inventory of items that are either too small value to individually tag, or in a container that holds multiple inventory items.

Demos

Demo 1 Overview:

Inventory Management Made Easy.

Demo 1:

Inventory Management Tags can be attached to fixed or mobile items, available in a range of forms, ranging from simple ‘stick-on’ tags, to robust weatherproof and fully waterproof tags that can withstand the extremes:

Each tag can be scanned by a range of different people.

What they see will depend upon their recognised role for that tag.

Examples of Interacting Roles:

  • Public – Sees message asking them who to contact if found
  • Logged In User – Sees same message as public, but with a form to make contact
  • Member – Authorised members, such as staff, may see instructions for who to contact, and what inforamtion to quote
  • Service Engineer – May see service history, last known inspection date, access password details, and previous certificates. Can upload new certificates, log a support message, and confirm operation.
  • Auditor / Health & Safety / Compliance – Can verify all tags in that area are compliant, and have up to date inspections carried out
  • Supervisor – May be able to adjust/update specific information about the item, including quantities, dates, description, images etc.
  • Site Admin – May be able to add new tags, change location information, and report on all items on site
  • Admin – Can allocate people to roles, pair NFC and QR tags, update all tag properties and more.

Variations:

Depending on who is interacting will determine what they will see.
